Mary's Success Story: So Much More Than A Workout!

"Fitness As A Lifestyle, LLC is more than just a workout session, meal plan, or bootcamp; It has put the LIFE in lifestyle for me! I never realized the importance of dieting until I started following Corey's "14 day challenge" and watching my portion control. Working out was never a problem for me, but the type of workouts I was doing never gave me the results I was looking for. Corey helped me reach my goal within a couple weeks versus the years I was putting in just running on the treadmill. His workouts were genius and it was only 30 minutes long, which was perfect for my schedule and anyone else who could never find the time in their day to go to the gym. Even though the sessions were challenging, his encouragement always got me through. Keeping my body in shape is essential for the career path I am taking. I need to be in the best shape I could possibly be in thats why working with Corey has been life saving. He has really helped, not only reaching my short term goal, but MENTALLY equipping me with what I need to in order to MAINTAIN this healthy body and lifestyle. I have learned with FAALIFESTYLE that it is so much more than just going to the gym and gettinng a good sweat session. Its about CONTROL and making the right choices. Food has always been my weakness, and being Persian doesn't help. Growing up my family has always centered everything around food; Celebrations, punishments, awards, anything you could think of involved food and I am not talking about chips and salsa or celery and carrots, the food I was raised on consists of alot of rice, heavy spices, and tons of meat! We ate Thanksgiving dinners for snacks!! I really don't think Corey realizes how much of a positive impact he has had not only on me but on many clients. My lifestyle and eating habits were very dangerous and I am very thankful I put an end to it at an early stage. He has saved me from from future heart attacks and expensive hospital bills by equipping me with the steps in preventing illnesses. I am forever thankful for working with him and being strong enough now to make healthier decisions. Thanks for all you did and do Corey! You are amazing at what you do....Continue changing lives and making a difference!" -Mary Bakhsheshe

Lizann's Story; Healthy Habits Turned Lifestyle...

Corey S. Taylor of “Fitness As A Lifestyle, LLC” has literally changed my life!!  I am a 5 year veteran of the United States Navy, and the training that Corey provides is a mix of some of my training from the military and his own personal style of interval training. I have struggled with weight my whole life, but I never found anything really wrong with it. I just figured that I wasn't meant to lose weight. I lost weight by myself so many times, but it never stayed off and I wasn’t as tone as I wanted to be. I didn’t realize that my eating habits were so out of whack. I would eat one meal a day and snack late at night. I never really had an appetite. So I was starving myself and in return my body was holding on to the weight. Corey’s high intensity interval training, meal plans (14daychallenge ask about it!), motivation, and guidance has changed the way I think about food and has changed my body forever. I refuse to go back to the weight I was which was 183! I still feel like I have a ways to go, for my own personal goals, but I definitely wanted to share my story to inspire anyone that is hesitant to take that next step.
I’ve lost inches every month that I’ve worked with Corey. I have passed my plateau finally! I am now 155, size 13 in pants to a size 8, size 8 dress to size 4. Working towards getting fitter and more toned. I’m running 3miles to 5miles like it’s nothing now and every day is a step in the right direction for me. I haven’t eaten McDonald’s, taco bell, burger king etc in about 5years, it is food without benefits.  I haven’t gained weight in a year and a half, I’ve either loss pounds or inches. Anyone can train you but not everyone cares, not everyone goes grocery shopping with you, not everyone emails you on vacation to remind you to stay on track, and not everyone personalizes meal plans and workouts for you personally, thats what sets Corey apart for other trainers.
Corey’s program change the way I eat, even my cheat days are healthy choices. I am addicted to results, so I refuse to stop. When I got down or frustrated he was there to motivated me and keep me focused. I’m building muscle that hasn’t been touched in years, lol so it takes time. I still have my curves and they are even better!! Now I’m motivating my friends and family to take on the challenge, now people ask me for fitness advice and I can proudly say, I’m doing it, I’m living it, it’s my lifestyle and I will gladly help anyone I can.  I believe that I will be at my personal best at the end of this year; even then I will still be a member of “Fitness As A Lifestyle.”

Kyanna's Success Story. . .

"Up until I got to college I was always physically active in sports since the age of 4! Then the FRESHMAN 15+ kicked in slowly but surely for the next few years. I knew I was gaining weight but never knew what it really looked like on me until I was in my acting class watching playback of my scene and said to myself <"Eww! How did I let myself get like this?"> Instantly, I knew I needed to get my mind right and get rid of all the unhealthy habits in my life! Luckily, a friend of mine referred me to Fitness As A Lifestyle, LLC; when I heard his prices I thought there was a catch because a lot of trainers out there just want the money but his rates were so affordable there was no excuse to try it out! My first session was on February 1, 2012 which was the first day of my new lifestyle. I had a personal trainer 2 years prior but it was nothing compared to what my Personal Trainer, Corey S. Taylor, had waiting for me. Within 3 1/2 months I dropped 25 lbs (163 lbs to 138 lbs) and went from a size 8 to a size 4! I also lost a good 4 inches from my waist alone and have been maintaining it! Taylor's passion for fitness and his concern for my fitness goals gave me even more motivation; soon that motivation turned into addiction-addicted to fitness being my LIFESTYLE! No two days are alike in the gym with him, you never know what to expect...except RESULTS! Now I admit, when he told me his sessions were 30 mins I told him <"i've trained with a trainer before and we did hour sessions"> and he let me have an hour session but not even 15 mins into the session I quickly changed my mind and only wanted 30 mins. The workouts are tough but very effective and he knows exactly what he is doing and talking about. Even when I was being the most difficult during sessions he still cared about my fitness goals and would make me pay for it in my workouts which ended up paying off in results! He also created meal plans, such as his '14 Day Challenge', that helped me get on the right track eating wise. Once I was on the right track, seeing results, as well as all the compliments I was getting from people, I knew that I could never go back to my old unhealthy lifestyle. He is really that great in what he does that I coined him the name my 'MASTER SCULPTOR' and I highly recommend everyone should try at least a month with him; I bet you will become addicted! I owe a big thanks to Corey S. Taylor, who is still my trainer and has set the bar so high I won't leave FITNESS AS A LIFESTYLE, LLC anytime soon!"

Another Fitness As A Lifestyle, LLC Graduate 2012!

"When I moved to Atlanta last summer, I thought I was in decent shape. I had just run a half marathon, and I was working out regularly, but I wasn’t incorporating much strength training into those workouts. A co-worker of mine was training with Corey Taylor, and recommended him as a fantastic trainer. I knew what great shape she was in, so I thought I’d give him a try.

After working out with him for about 8 months, I can honestly say I was NOT in very good shape when I met him. Two workouts with Corey every week have pushed my physical limits in ways my own workouts never did. It’s amazing to see how far I’ve come in my workouts with him; moves that seemed almost impossible during my first few workouts come easily now. I’ve continued to run races, but at a pace of at least one minute per mile faster than before. I also completed the Tough Mudder in February, which was a brutal test of my strength and endurance, in just over three hours. There’s no way I would have been able to handle the challenges of that course without Corey’s help.

In addition to seriously increasing my physical strength and endurance, working out with Corey has helped me to lose weight and drop almost two dress sizes. I’m much leaner and more toned than I ever have been, and I feel great! Working out and following his diet suggestions help me to feel awake and energized all day long.

I’m preparing to deploy to Afghanistan as a DNA Examiner for the Army, so my workouts with Corey will end, but I know I will continue to incorporate the exercises and moves I’ve learned with him into my workouts overseas. Corey has taught me how to target different muscle groups that I hadn’t been working before, and I’ve learned to push past the pain in order to get the most out of every workout. The encouragement he provides during training sessions and his ability to work around my schedule really set him apart as a trainer. I’ve learned so much from Corey, and I am so thankful I had the opportunity to get to know him as a trainer and friend!"
